Some resources

A few resources for you that may be useful:
The Fathering Project - The Fathering Project is Australia's leading not-for-profit working to inspire and equip fathers and father-figures - for the benefit of children. This is an excellent resource for parents but especially Dad's. You can subscribe to a weekly email with a weekly thought and inspiration as well as some great content. (For Swans or Bulldogs fans Rodney Eade is a big supporter of this project.)

The Big Life Journal - This is a great resource for encouraging kids and teens. It is something you can use with your kids or give them to work on for themselves if they are older. It is available for purchase but along with that you gain access to some great download material which continues to be released weekly and is for parents and kids with heaps of practical activities to really help them build a healthier mindset. Definitely check it out. (It is USA based)
Big Life Journal: Growth Mindset for Kids & Teens
Girl Wise, Wise Guys, Teen Talk - Sharon Witt is a Australian Christian author who has focused on helping kids lead healthier lives through her great books. Once again you could work through these with kids ( I have run school groups based on these) or for them to work through themselves. Her titles cover lots of areas with her general "A girls/boys guide to life" through to focus areas of Friends, School, Your Body, etc. Once again check these out because I wish I had access to these books when I was a parent of school age kids. They are fun and engaging for kids along with acknowledging that God is our creator who loves us.

The books above would make great birthday or Christmas presents for your kids. Why not give them something life building along with the socks and jocks? All these resources I use personally so have fun checking them out.
